Job Overview

The Optimised Group is looking for a Bureau Administrator to join our full service, energy solutions business. They will be responsible for assisting the team with administrative support; including processing utility invoices, managing queries and dealing with disconnection notices from suppliers.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Receiving, logging and entering utility invoices/meter reads to our database and complete all invoice checking and tariff-based validation

  • Raising queries and supporting the resolution of errors with suppliers when invoices are incorrect.

  • Dealing with reminder and disconnection notices from suppliers

  • Answering and making telephone calls from suppliers and clients

  • Creating batch files for the client to allow payments to be made

  • Assisting line manager and direct client team with day to day recurring tasks

Up to £20,500 dependent on experience

Reporting To:

Section Head - Bureau & Recharging

Person Specification

  • Attention to detail and good organisation skills.

  • Team player and confident.

  • Good communication skills (telephone and written).

Experience & Qualifications


  • Some administration experience is desired.

  • Basic Excel skills.
