Head of Client Services (Commercial Real Estate)

The Optimised Group is looking for a Head of Client Services (Commercial Real Estate) to join our full service, energy solutions business. The Head of Client Services is also referred to internally as a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) head. The SBU Head leads and executes the sector strategy to accelerate growth and profitability through the delivery of full-service engagements within a balanced client portfolio.
Driving growth by supporting Sales & Marketing in identifying opportunities and macro trends within the industry sector of responsibility and shaping the communications strategy.
Responsibility for the Sector P&L including budgeting and driving engagement and overall sector gross margin.
Responsibility for defining and maintain sector specific KPI’s (e.g. portfolio energy intensity, savings delivered, sqm under management).
Defining Sector resource forecasts and capability requirements to ensure that the required resource to execute sector strategy is in place.
Overseeing the client experience / satisfaction across the sector, with particular emphasis on Key Accounts, and ensure that sustainable relationships exist within the sector.
Developing the SBU to adopt appropriate positions in the value chain, including partnerships, and be credible in terms of industry knowledge, thought leadership and network.
Overseeing the Account Managers within the sector.
The role requires in-depth knowledge of the strategic and commercial opportunities within the sector, and must have direct, senior level expertise within that industry.
Ability to scope detailed client requirements, plan and mobilise multi-faceted delivery programmes, and oversee successful implementation from end to end.
Should have a background in both technical delivery and client service, with technical covering energy, building services and sustainability.
